Book the BandThe BARN BANDits were not formed in a boardroom or a rehearsal studio. They were born the old-fashioned way — at a party. In the spring of 2024, at Denis and Val's place, Tom De Rosa and Faye Forma clocked the drum kit in the basement. Dave Shepherd grabbed a guitar. Denis and another Dave obliged behind the kit.
What began as a casual jam turned into that magical moment musicians know well: "Umm… this is actually good." They pulled together a quick-and-dirty set list, recruited Chris Wannamaker on bass, and debuted at Consecon's Porchfest to a reception that suggested this wasn't just a one-off fling.
Since then, the Bandits have lit up Closson Chase's Summer Party, the Lavender Festival, the Ameliasburgh Fair, and Prince Eddy's Brewery in Picton. From accidental basement jam to bona fide County crowd-pleasers — sometimes the best plans are the ones you never planned at all.
We play the essential pop and rock anthems that get every crowd moving — from the '70s through to today. Here's a taste of what we sound like live.
Grew up in Etobicoke in a large, musical family. In her 20s she signed with Power Records and charted in the UK. Her powerful voice now lights up stages across The County.
Born in Montreal, raised in Toronto, now rooted in PEC with Faye at County Buzzz B&B. A lifelong musician and beekeeper who is thrilled to finally bring his music to live audiences.
A Toronto native who has played professionally since the '80s. After 15 years in California in audio tech, he and his wife relocated to The County in 2024. Glad to finally be making music close to home.
Born in South London, Dave moved to Ontario in 1981, retired from Yamaha Motor, and settled in The County in 2018. Known as "The Prez" — current President of the Consecon Legion.
32 years with Toronto Police, the last 15 in intelligence. The hardest-working BANDit — now a volunteer firefighter, cocktail mixer at Bare Bones Distillery, and the engine of the band.
The newest Bandit and a woodworking demi-god — owner of Rabbit Hole Woodworking and a cast member on the PEC TV show "The County." Victor and his chef wife Corinna are glad they made the move.
